Early Childhood Jewish & Israel Cultural Ambassador Program
Location: Bay Area & Los Angeles, California
This program offers a 17-day immersive seminar in Israel designed to strengthen Jewish identity, nurture a connection to Israel, and cultivate partnerships among JECE educators from Israel and the Bay Area. Participants will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Israeli culture while focusing on early childhood education. The program is fully funded by EarlyJ. Graduates will receive a one-time bonus, funded in partnership between EarlyJ and their preschool, 5 academic credits from Oranim College, and the title “Jewish & Israel Cultural Ambassador.” We are holding an additional informational Zoom call on January 4, 2026 (information in the button below). The application deadline is January 8, 2026.
EarlyJ's Impact Award
Location: Bay Area, California
The EarlyJ Impact Award recognizes the critical role that Jewish early childhood professionals play within our communities and celebrates the outstanding dedication and contributions of both educators and directors. EarlyJ will select one educator and one director to be honored in the Bay Area for their leadership, innovation, and lasting impact in the field of Jewish Early Childhood Education. The award empowers recipients with the resources to continue inspiring growth and innovation within their preschools, shaping lifelong Jewish journeys for the children and families they serve. EarlyJ remains deeply committed to honoring and uplifting Jewish early childhood educators and leaders, fostering a culture of excellence, creativity, and professional growth that strengthens and elevates Jewish life across the Bay Area. The application deadline is January 9, 2026.
EarlyJ’s ECE Shinshinim Program

We are excited to announce that EarlyJ is now entering the second year of our Shinshinim program, which brings Israeli young adults to Bay Area preschools for a year of cultural engagement and community building. This program continues to be fully funded by EarlyJ. Here, you will find updated program details, an overview of the Shinshinim role, and an invitation to join us for an information session where we will share expectations, benefits, the selection process, and next steps.
